Merry Christmas! It’s been a little quiet here on the blogging front – but with Christmas sewing out of the way, I hope to get back into the swing of things again very soon!

I wanted to quickly share an excellent deal on one of my favorite designers! This is the ONE DAY in the year you’ll be able to score Boo! Designs patterns for 40% off!! If you plan to make outfits for girls or swimsuits for your kids this summer, this is the pattern company to stock up on!
I love mashing Boo! Designs patterns together – it’s easy to mix and match the swimsuits and dress/skirt patterns together to create entirely new looks! Here’s a sampling of what I’ve made – grab these on sale until midnight December 26, 2019 Australian Eastern Time (that’s 9AM US Eastern).
Boo! Leggings
Boo Leggings are great for leggings AND making boys swim bottoms – the almost knee length “jammers” are really popular right now. Leggings blogged here | Buy leggings here.
Boo! Dynamite Activewear
Boo! Designs Dynamite Activewear comes with leggings with great color blocking options, a crop top and a tank top (both in multiple styles). This is super fun for the sporty girls in your life, and the top also works for swimsuits too. Blogged here | Buy it here.
Boo! Embrace Togs
Boo! Embrace Togs is my favorite swimsuit pattern so far! I adore the back straps, and love how easy it is to get this swimsuit on and off. I really need to make a bunch more of these for swim lessons. Embrace Togs Blogged here | Buy them here.
Boo! Flounce Dress
And here we go with the mashing! Doesn’t look much like a dress right? In this swimsuit, I mashed the Boo Flounce Dress with the Boo Swimmers pattern. It made for such a fun suit! Blogged Flounce Dress here| Buy the dress here | Buy Boo Swimmers here.
Boo! Baby Swimmers
For a long time, most of the Boo! patterns started at 2T. If your kid is smaller than that, the Boo Baby Swimmers are a great place to start with. Here’s my youngest in hers – modified with a ruffle, because every girl needs ruffles ;-). Blogged Baby Swimmers here | Buy the swimsuit here.
Boo! Swimmers
If you can only get one swimsuit pattern, this is the one to get! This was my very first swimsuit pattern that I used and I have been able to modify it in so many ways. It comes with 2 rash guards, 3 bottoms, a bikini top and a tank top, so you can easily use it for girls and boys. Over time I’ve learned how to modify them with ruffles, bows, etc. And of course, mix and match them with a skirt for a whole new look. Blogged Swimmers here, and here, and here, and here| Buy Swimmers here.
Boo! Skater Dress
If I had to work out which dress pattern I had sewn the most, it would be this one! Boo Skater dress comes in two patterns – the original and the sleeved. Together, these dresses provide you with a whole bunch of sleeve styles, skirt styles, bodice styles – perfect for play dresses, mashing with swimsuits, costuming, etc. Made in a spandex fabric, these are super quick to sew especially since they don’t require hemming. Blogged here, and here, and here. | Buy sleeveless here | Buy sleeved skater here.
With this sale, I know I’ll be grabbing the new Boo! Twin Swim pattern and the Cartwheel Shorts – I’d love to hear which favorites you’ll be getting!
