Mix ‘n’ Match Shorts & Tops for Summer {for FabricMart}

Since I prefer to sew for my children, my own closet gets seriously neglected! I decided to put my own needs first for my FabricMart make this time, and create a pair of comfy shorts and tops for ME!

This month I used the Itch to Stitch Hermosa Shorts, Pattern Emporium Hello Gorgeous Top, and the FREE Paddington Top from Peppermint Magazine. FabricMart sent me some fantastic stretch denim, cotton jersey, and poly crepe to create these garments!

I’m Natasha (Nat) and I’m an Australian girl who grew up in Hobart, Tasmania and moved to Northern Virginia, USA in 2005. When I was a kid, my grandmother taught me how to hand embroider, and later, between seventh grade home ec. lessons, my mother, and a lot of trial and error, I learned to machine sew too.
