I’m Natasha (Nat) and I’m an Australian girl who grew up in Hobart, Tasmania and moved to Northern Virginia, USA in 2005.  When I was a kid, my grandmother babysat me a lot, and I spent hours upon hours in her craft room watching her sew (and nagging her to let me sew too). She taught me how to hand embroider, and later, between seventh grade home ec. lessons, my mother, and a lot of trial and error, I learned to machine sew too.

I mostly sew children’s wear, though sometimes I sew for me too! I sew with a Bernina Aurora 430 (what can I say, I come from a long line of Bernina owners!), a Juki MO654DE serger, and a Babylock BLCS2 Cover Stitch.

I am a married, stay at home mum to three little kids. Right now I’m homeschooling my 10 year old daughter, 8 year old son, and 6 year old daughter. When I’m not sewing, I love to sing (I’m a classically trained contralto), score awesome shopping deals, and travel (though this was a lot easier pre-kids!).
