Twirling in Liberty of London! {for FabricMart}

I was OH SO excited to spot Liberty of London at Fabric Mart recently, and just HAD to sew it up for my quarterly Fabricista project! Deals at Fabric Mart don’t last long, so when you see something you want, you need to snap it up immediately. This can also result in a very overflowing fabric stash, but let’s not talk about that, hmm?

With this beautiful fabric, I decided to make my eldest daughter a big twirly double circle skirt dress – and I think I even remembered to add pockets this time! To finish off the circle skirt hem, I used green gingham shirting that I laboriously cut into bias strips. ♫The things you do for love!♫. It’s so fun to have little accents like that hidden inside a garment!

You can see my blog post on this whole project at Fabric Mart Fabricista Blog, so do check it out! I used the Freesia Dress from Peony Patterns for this too!
