So I’m super slow to get this deal posted up for you, but this weekend Jalie released their annual Galaxie pattern, and this one’s definitely a fun one, especially for pet owners!! Galaxie 4 comes with a pet tent, collapsible bowls, waste bag holder, treat bag, and lined hip bag — most in multiple sizes too.
Since we don’t have pets, I opted for the treat bags and plan to use them for my kids snacks – though I can think of many other uses too!! I also have plans to make the pet tent for my youngest’s toy owl collection – it will make a great Christmas present for her!!
The treat bags were super quick to whip up – I made these three in under an hour, and had I not made dumb mistakes, could have made them even quicker than that too! I used zippers that I had in my stash — I do suggest using a normal 3mm coil zipper though – these fat ones are a bit cumbersome to sew over!
Of course, I had to use some of my Wolf & Rabbit poplin on these bags too (lined them with PUL on the inside). These fabrics are also on sale for 25% off for just a few more hours too!
